Description
While I was in Detroit, I was granted permission to go into the Michigan Theatre which is now a parking garage next to the offices of the Michigan Building. The Michigan Theatre was originally built in 1926 showing live shows as well as silent films and later, talkies. It later became a concert venue that hosted bands such as Aerosmith, David Bowie and Blue Oyster Cult until it was closed in 1976.
